This book helps with the design of steel, timber, masonary and concrete and is a very good introduction to the design process for civil and structural engineers. The examples are well written and precise and help even the not so mathmatical person understand how the design process occurs. I highly recommend this book to all structural design students, as its wide range of information gives the background to further study in a particular field.
