This book helps with the design of steel, timber, masonary and concrete and is a very good introduction to the design process for civil and structural engineers. The examples are well written and precise and help even the not so mathmatical person understand how the design process occurs. I highly recommend this book to all structural design students, as its wide range of information gives the background to further study in a particular field.

The third edition of the CAC Concrete Design Handbook was published in January 2006. In introducing the new reinforced concrete design requirements of the CSA A23.3-04 Design of Concrete Structures Standard, a total of 12 Concrete Design Handbook seminars were conducted across Canada. کتابخانه ديجيتالي دريا با حدود 28 هزار عنوان کتاب خارجي در آرشيو فعلي خود که به طور متوسط هفته‌اي 1500 عنوان کتاب به اين آرشيو اضافه مي‌شود در مرکز رشد دانشگاه تربيت مدرس راه‌اندازي شده است.
اين سيستم ديجيتالي به کاربر امکان مي‌دهد تا بدون داشتن و نصب Pluginهاي متداول همانند PDF روي مرورگر خود همه اين کتاب‌ها را به صورت الکترونيکي و با چندين نوع کيفيت مطالعه نمايند. کتابخانه ديجيتالي دريا با ساختار سلسه مراتبي و قابليت خوشه‌بندي امکان ايجاد شبکه کتابخانه‌اي از چندين زير کتابخانه را در قالب يک کتابخانه واحد فراهم مي‌کند. همچنين هر کاربر امکان ايجاد يک کتابخانه شخصي را براي خود دارد.
کاربران مي‌توانند با مراجعه به سايت‌ http://www.daryaweb.ir منابع و مطالب اين سيستم را بنا بر‌ موضوع تقسيم‌بندي شده را جستجو و کتاب مورد نظر خود را پيدا کنند.لازم به ذکر است که در اين کتابخانه ديجيتالي، پايان‌نامه‌هاي برخي از دانشگاه‌هاي ايران و دانشگاه‌هاي خارجي وجود دارد.
